Imagine That! Art Studio

Cedars of Lebanon, State Park
Cedars of Lebanon State Park is named for the dense cedar forest that existed in the Biblical lands of Lebanon. The park contains 1000 acres which are used for intensive recreation. An additional 10,000 acres are operated by the Forest Division.

Don Fox Community Park
The Don Fox Community Park offers the community a host of amenities. The mission of the Don Fox Park is to enhance the quality of life in Lebanon by creating the environment and the opportunity to meet the diverse leisure needs of the residents of the city. The goal of the Don Fox Community Park is to maintain and develop a park that is attractive, safe, functional, and available to all segments of the population.

Lebanon Golf & Country Club
The Lebanon Golf and Country Club was established in 1951. The Club offers a challenging 9 hole golf course, pro shop with on-site professional instruction, swimming pool and recreational cabana, banquet facilities, restaurant and lounge.

Five Oaks Golf & Country Club
Five Oaks Golf and Country Club is nestled in a beautiful 506 - acre community that lies in the scenic countryside off Highway 70 in Lebanon, Tennessee and comes complete with an 18-hole golf course, a 21,000-square-foot clubhouse, pool & tennis facility.

Cairo Bend Park(coming soon)
With a focus on community connection, as the park will be constructed adjacent to Goodall Home’s newest community, The Preserve, the site amenities are numerous and speak to a wide array of tastes. From extensive walking trails and open spaces to covered pavilions and an expansive playground, the approximate 16-acre property will be a welcome recreational haven for Lebanon’s western corridor residents.

Cumberland University
Cumberland University is located in Lebanon, TN, 30 miles east of Nashville. Founded in 1842, Cumberland University offers a variety of educational, athletic and social experiences to enhance the learning opportunities of the current student body. The university has an exceptional academic program steeped in the liberal arts. Athletic teams regularly compete for conference and national championships.

Fite/Fessenden House Museum
The Fite-Fessenden House is a historic house in Lebanon, Tennessee, U.S.. It is now home to the Wilson County Museum. Tours are available by appointment only.

Our past is something that we here in the City of Lebanon hold very dear. Tradition and honor are two values we hold in high esteem. The City of Lebanon Museum and History Center is now open Mon. - Fri., 8 a.m. - 4 p.m, groups of 10 people or more are asked to call 443-2839 and prearrange their tour so guides will be available. Fiddler’s Grove
Fiddlers Grove sits on a knoll among the trees at the James E. Ward Agricultural and Community Center in Lebanon, Tennessee. This re-created historic village consists of original and replicated buildings, some using original materials from structures originating in the many small rural communities throughout Wilson County, Tennessee. The village houses historical structures, and many of the buildings display collections significant to our Wilson County history.

Historic Lebanon’s overall goal is to use historic preservation for economic development. Our focus is concentrated in our Main Street area, specifically to increase tourism, entice more retail and businesses and to create a sense of place with Lebanon’s rich history and to create a market identity for the whole community. We strive to enhance Lebanon’s quality of life and to increase our profile as a great small town.

Historic Lebanon Driving Tour
Thishistoric driving tour highlights buildings, sites and areas which are unique to Lebanon and Wilson County. In all, there are twenty-eight county wide sites, many listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The sites along the tour route are identified with a numbered sign.

The Mill of Lebanon
The Mill at Lebanon is a mixed use redevelopment project. We are on the National Registry of Historic Places and a 105 year old building with grandeur and character to spare. The sixth largest event facility in Middle Tennessee we host events ranging from small private to trade show and concert. With restaurants and retail developing, we are becoming a destination site. Come visit!

Lebanon’s Farmers’ Market
The City of Lebanon Farmers’ Market was established for the purpose of providing: A distribution point for fresh, home-grown fruit and vegetables that the consumers might not otherwise have access to. A location as an outlet for surplus home-grown products that would enable local producers to realize economic gains.

James E. Ward Agriculture Center
Conveniently located right off I-40—and just minutes from Nashville’s International Airport—the Wilson County Exposition Center is located at the James E. Ward Agricultural Center. This municipally-owned, 260-acre property encompasses three flexible-use properties that host over 1 million visitors each year for outstanding indoor, outdoor, and mixed use special events.

The Wilson County Fair
To promote, encourage, and stimulate the civic welfare and betterment of Wilson County, Tennessee, and the surrounding geographical area, through the promotion, ownership and operation of a Fair and other similar endeavors; to promote, encourage and maintain interest in agriculture, labor, industry, recreation, business, commerce, trade and any other civic function or interest by the exhibition method or otherwise; to cooperate with other citizens and groups of citizens interested in the same or similar purposes.

Cumberland University Phoenix Ball
One of the premier charity events in Tennessee, the Phoenix Ball is a black tie gala benefiting Cumberland University, which was founded in 1842. Attended by hundres of prominent middle Tennesseans, the Ball has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for scholarships for students attending Cumberland.

Sherry’s Run
Faith, courage, optimism and a desire to help others were qualities that defined Sharon “Sherry” Patterson Whitaker. Both before and after the energetic wife and mother was diagnosed with colon cancer, the impression she made on her family, friends and community was undeniable. While her battle in the flesh was lost in 2004, the spirit she had shown throughout life continues to touch more lives every day. With God’s blessings and immearsurable support from our community, Sherry’s Run, has grown from a one time 5K Run/Walk into an Christ centered, non-profit organization giving HOPE to families who are fighting cancer.

Mardi Gras at the Capitol
Mardi Gras at the Capitol is a night of dinner, dancing, a live and silent auction, fun activities and much more to benefit the Sherry’s Run organization!

Halloween on the Square
The Lebanon Wilson County Chamber of Commerce partners with the City of Lebanon and First Baptist Church to present Halloween on the Square every October. As always, there will be plenty of candy for everyone, as well as free hotdogs, courtesy of Public Safety!

City of Lebanon Christmas Parade
Located in Historic Downtown Lebanon, join us for the largest event to start the Holiday season. The parade features only horse drawn carriages. The highlights of the event are the 1pm afternoon carriage parade and the 7pm evening parade which will have over 100 decorated carriages pulled by minis, Clydesdales, Percherons and many more!

4thof July Celebration
Mark your calendars for a day of family fun at the City of Lebanon Fourth of July Celebration with activities that features food, flag display, live entertainment, classic cars, motorcycle exhibits and of course fireworks.

Historic Tour of Homes & Places
Historic Lebanon’s mission is the revitalization of Lebanon’s Public Square and surrounding neighborhoods. We are a non-profit organization and a certified Tennessee Main Street program. We also receive annual accreditation from the National Main Street Center. Historic Lebanon uses the 4-point Main Street approach of Design/Historic Preservation, Economic Vitality, Promotion and Organization to achieve our goals.

Whip Crackin’ Rodeo
The Whip Crackin’ Rodeo is a wholesome family venue, providing a great weekend of fun while helping to raise much needed funds for a dozen local charities, bring in lots of people to our city, and be an economical boost to local businesses!

Parklet Day
Community members, Historic Lebanon, and City of Lebanon Planning Staff will be using artistic inspirations to create parklets to educate each other, to contribute our ideas, and to express our needs for the City. These parklets will be a part of the overall Guiding Principles that the City is creating for the Comprehensive Plan and the betterment of the community. In addition to the Parklets, there will be a block party with food trucks, music, and vendors.
