UT fans sh*te talk with nothing to back it up outside of baseball.
The 8 million threads worth of trolling predicting that DeBoer wouldn't be able to recruit well at Alabama are the reason for all the gloating. Every highly rated recruit that KD and company bring in just makes those awful predictions that much more hilarious.

Man, 94.19 per recruit average composite, and that's with Ty Haywood, Caleb Cunningham, and Akylin Dean still to add. It's looking like Seattle Saban instead of Husky Harsin. Bama gonna finish with a 95 average.

quote:
The On3 Industry Team Recruiting Ranking solves the problem of varying class sizes during the recruiting cycle. It compiles the highest-rated commits for each team up to a total based on a rolling average of current total commitments among Power 5 schools.
LSU's average per recruit is going to drop significantly moving forward once more kids commit to Power 5 schools. Having only 15 commitments is propping up their average.
ETA: I'm not disparaging LSU's class. This is an indictment on On3's proprietary formula determining the average.
Their formula only really makes sense once pen hits paper for all the prospects in the class.

The gift the keeps on giving. I’m glad a few wives/sisters have been spared this far.

DeBoer’s been impressive. I’ll definitely admit to that.

I don't know if it's so much KD as it is the way they've built the program.
How much work does the CEO do in recruiting? I heard one or two interviews with the guy and I've heard multiple times how good the guy is with the relationships that allow you to recruit at the highest level.
All that notwithstanding, if KD gets top 3 classes every season, he's going to be winning Nattys. It's jus the truth. .
